Creator Terms

These Creator Terms apply to users who publish, share, or sell templates through Malayalam Trolls & Greetings Maker (the “Services”). They are in addition to our general Terms & Conditions. By publishing content as a creator, you agree to these terms.

1. Publishing Templates

As a creator, you can submit templates for publication in the community. Submitted templates may be reviewed and must be approved before they become visible to other users. We may reject or remove templates that violate these terms.

2. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of the templates you create. By publishing a template, you grant us and users a license to display, distribute, and (where permitted) let users edit and download your template through the Services.

3. Using Images Responsibly — Understanding Copyright

You are fully responsible for every image, font, graphic, and other element you include in your templates. Before you publish, make sure you have the right to use each element commercially.

• Understand copyright law. Most images, illustrations, and fonts are protected by copyright the moment they are created. Using them without permission can infringe the owner’s rights.
• Don’t take images from the internet without knowing their license. An image appearing in search results does not mean it is free to use. “Found online” is never a licence.
• Use public-domain or properly licensed images. Prefer images that are in the public domain, released under a permissive licence (e.g. CC0), or that you have purchased/licensed for commercial use. Keep proof of the licence.
• Read the licence terms. Some “free” images require attribution or forbid commercial or resale use. Confirm the licence allows use in templates you may sell.
• Prefer your own original work. Images, artwork, and text you create yourself are the safest choice and avoid copyright issues entirely.
• Respect brands, people, and trademarks. Do not use logos, brand marks, or recognizable people’s images without the necessary rights or consent.
• No AI-generated content that infringes. If you use AI-generated elements, ensure the output does not reproduce copyrighted or trademarked material.

By publishing a template, you confirm that you own or have the rights to every element in it, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you publish.

4. Paid Templates and Earnings

You may offer templates for sale. When a user purchases your paid template, you earn a share of the sale. The remainder covers applicable taxes, payment-gateway charges, and platform charges.

How a Purchase Is Split

Your earning on each paid template is half (50%) of the transaction amount. Taxes and payment-gateway (PG) charges are deducted from the total, and the platform retains the balance. Here is a worked example on a ₹100 sale:

• Transaction amount: ₹100
• Tax (18%): ₹18 deducted → remaining ₹82
• PG charges (15% of ₹82): ₹12.30 deducted → remaining ₹69.70
• Creator earning (50% of the ₹100 transaction): ₹50 → remaining ₹19.70
• Platform charges: ₹19.70

In this example, on a ₹100 sale you (the creator) earn ₹50. The exact tax and payment-gateway percentages may vary depending on your region and the payment provider, and are shown at the time of the transaction.

5. Payouts

Payouts are made to your provided payment details once you meet the minimum payout threshold. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings.

6. Prohibited Content

Templates must not contain unlawful, infringing, misleading, hateful, or otherwise harmful content. We may remove templates that violate these terms and may suspend creator privileges for repeated violations.

7. Changes and Termination

We may update these Creator Terms or discontinue creator features. We may also remove templates or revoke creator access where necessary to protect the community.
